AKPR is a boutique public relations agency founded in 2004 by Anne Kristoff, former Vice President of Press & Artist Development at the Elektra Entertainment Group and Atlantic Records.

AKPR handles just 2 – 3 clients at a time to ensure a high level of personalized service and dedicated focus to your project. We work with each client to devise a strategic, tailor-made campaign that supports both short and long-term goals, and includes a wide range of mainstream and grassroots media outlets (national and regional television and print, syndicated radio, internet websites and blogs, lifestyle press).

In addition to providing media relations and publicity expertise, AKPR offers additional capabilities in artist development, brand building, media training, marketing consultation, collateral development and special event planning and execution.

Anne Kristoff spent 14 years at Elektra Entertainment Group handling such superstar artists as Missy Elliott, AC/DC, Busta Rhymes, and Staind, as well as launching numerous “baby bands.”  With AKPR she has expanded upon her extensive music base to include such accounts as Toyota, actress Alexandra Barreto, and designer Dana Brandwein of dboHome.
